To be a Church
that proclaims the life giving Word to the dying world.
OUR MISSION
LGCI exists
to bring God's love to the people and to bring together the believing people
into God's Church, to teach them God's Word and prepare them for God's service
in obedience to God's commandment for the glory of God's name.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that
the Bible is eternal truth without any mixture of error
and is the complete written divine revelation of God to man and therefore, the
final authority for faith and life.
(Ps 119:160; Jn
17:17; Rev 22:18-19; 2 Tim 3:16)
We believe in
one God, the Supreme Eternal Being, the Creator and
Beginning of all things, absolute in His attributes, existing in Trinity (
Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; 1John 5:7).
We believe in
the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of
God, in His deity, His sinless life and vicarious death and resurrection.
We
believe His bodily return.
(Romans 9:5;
Phil. 2:5-11; Luke 1:30-35; Titus 2:13).
We believe in
the person of the Holy Spirit. He convicts
the sinners, He indwells the believers, a guide of the spiritual truth and
empowers the believers for service
(John 16:7-13;
Acts 5:3-4).
We believe that man was created by God in His image and by his own
personal choice fell into sin and is under condemnation (Gen. 1;26-27; Romans
3:10, 23).
We believe that salvation is wholly by grace and that the Lord Jesus
Christ is the only way of salvation
(John 3:16; Acts
16:30-31)
Those who
believe on the Lord Jesus Christ are eternally saved and the eternal security rest upon the finished work of God through Christ
on the Cross of Calvary
(1John 5:11-13;
John 10:28; 20:31, Ephesians 2:8-9).
We believe that
the New Testament Church is a
congregation of baptized believers by immersion, practicing New Testament principles,
holding forth its doctrines, observing its ordinances, exercising its
autonomy and proclaiming Christ’s Gospel (Fulfilling the great
commission). The New Testament teaches that Christ is the Head of the
Church (Eph.5:23)
We believe that
after salvation, the new believer is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
of the Holy Spirit (see Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38). We believe in the observance
of the Lord's communion when the
elements of bread and grape juice
(a representation of the body and blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross
and His promised return.

We believe Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all
believers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that
after leaving one's life on earth, the unbelievers will be finally judged by
God and sent to hell where they
will be eternally tormented with the devil and the fallen angels.
